What I say

They could have made it from Carbon nanotubes,

China is mobile in a big way, SMART mobile

In 2010 China had 750 million mobile subscribers, they have the highest percentage of so called advanced users in the world with over 50% classified as power users. In 2010 less than 200 million Chinese used the phones for browsing the internet or using social networks this has doubled to over 400 million in just 2 years, the total mobile phone handsets sold are expected to be close to 1 billion by the end of 2012.

Head of Tencent, Ma Huateng was quoted as saying “We can easily predict that mobile internet is the leading trend. At the same time, PC internet enters a platform period. Judged from the net flow and potential market, mobile internet is better than PC internet. The whole internet industry should embrace this change and take advantage of this trend.”

So its clear China like the rest of the world is moving towards mobile internet away from the PC traditional usage model, they are the vanguard this despite massive Government controls.

Size does matter!, at least for mobile phones

SMARTPHONES ARE TOO SMALL for people in the US and the UK, and most users are set on devices with at least four inch screens.

This news comes from the brains at Strategy Analytics, who in their Wireless Device Lab report found that smartphone owners want thin devices with larger displays.

These thin but bigger models should have screens somewhere between 4 inches and 4.5 inches, it added.
