Alienware M14x Review

Alienware-M14x
8 Overall Score
Graphics: 8/10
Battery life: 6/10
Power: 9/10

Quad core i7, fast Nvidia GPU, Wireless, beautiful display

Bit expensive, runs hot, design a bit dated, Heavy, only 3.5 hours battery life.

Check out the CNET video review of the new Alienware M14X gaming portable laptop.

Typical Specs

  • Intel® Core™ i7 Processor 2630QM (2.0Ghz, 6MB, 4C)
  • 1.5GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT555M
  • 4096MB (2x2GB) 1600MHz DDR3 Dual Channel
  • 500GB (7,200rpm) SATA Hard Drive
  • Internal High-Definition 5.1 Surround Sound
  • AlienFX® Illuminated Keyboard

Summary

Its the best compromise of raw power and portability for PC gaming, its a bit heavy, but you can play all the latest games on it, its a better option than the M11 in my opinion, because of the larger screen size, and the M11s surprisingly poor battery life considering its size.
