According to NASA, streaming NASA+ on multiple platforms enhances the agency's ability to share its work. Wes Brown, acting associate administrator for the Office of Communications at NASA Headquarters, emphasized the importance of making content easily accessible to the public. This includes everything from astronaut launches to the International Space Station to behind-the-scenes looks at asteroid defense teams and high-definition images of the cosmos. NASA+ provides an up-close view of how the agency explores the universe's secrets for the benefit of all, and this widespread availability on platforms like Prime Video is crucial to that mission.

Previously, NASA+ was available through the NASA App on iOS and Android devices, as well as streaming media players like Roku, Apple TV, and Fire TV. The addition of a FAST channel on Prime Video caters to users who prefer watching content directly within the Prime Video ecosystem. This strategic expansion ensures that viewers can seamlessly integrate NASA's content into their existing entertainment routines.
