From May 7th, 2025, to May 20th, 2025, players can expect to encounter the elusive Cheshire Cat's shenanigans across their Valley and select Realms. But don't expect any predictable patterns from this feline trickster – be prepared for a variety of 'Cheshire-fied' surprises as the event unfolds.

'Cheshire Chaos' Event: What to Expect
This event offers four exclusive rewards and a unique way to interact with your Dreamlight environment. Look out for pink cracks in the ground and pink paw prints in your Valley and Realms. Clearing these anomalies is key to progressing through the event.
How to Participate:
- Cheshire Cracks: Starting May 7th, 2025, these will appear in all Biomes of the Valley. Dig them up to spawn Memory Shards, then claim your reward from the Event menu.
- Paw Prints: Starting May 7th, 2025, search for paw prints on a Realm Door and inside that Realm! Use your Royal Watering Can to remove 20 paw prints and claim a reward.
- Realm Restoration: Initiating May 11th, 2025, and May 15th, 2025, more paws will spawn, where you’ll head back to the Dream Castle to fix up another Realm from Cheshire Cat’s chaos for the final rewards.
Important Note: To fully participate in all Realm activities, you'll need to have unlocked Buzz & Woody (Toy Story), Nala & Simba (Lion King), and Jasmine & Aladdin (Aladdin) as Villagers.
'Chaos in the Kitchen' Quest: A Culinary Caper
Before the Cheshire Cat fully embraces Dreamlight Valley, you'll need to tackle the 'Chaos in the Kitchen' quest. This mission requires you to first complete the 'Leaving Wonderland' quest arc for Alice. Once that's done, head over to Remy's Restaurant, and prepare for a pink paw print invasion!
Quest Steps:
- Clean Up the Mess: Remove the pink paw prints scattered around the restaurant.
- Discover the Recipe: Find a book on the floor revealing a new recipe: the Cheshire Cat Tail dessert.
- Bake the Dessert: Gather the ingredients (Wheat, Cocoa Beans, Eggs, Sugar Cane) and cook the four-star dessert.
- The Recipe for the Cheshire Cat tail dessert:
- 1 x Wheat
- 1 x Cocoa beans
- 1 x Eggs
- 1 x Sugar cane
- Clear More Mess: Tidy up the stacks of restaurant chairs outside the restaurant.
- Meet the Cat (Briefly): The Cheshire Cat will appear, but he's not quite ready to move in yet.
- Report to Remy: Finish the quest and pave the way for the Cheshire Cat's arrival.
