ASUS Unveils Gold-Plated ROG Astral RTX 5090 “Dhahab Edition” for Discerning Gamers

The unveiling of the ROG Astral RTX 5090 Dhahab Edition coincided with the Dubai Esports Festival 2025 (DEF), where ROG showcased its latest hardware. Alongside the golden GPU, ROG debuted its flagship Strix SCAR series laptops, powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs and Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processors, boasting up to 64 GB of RAM and 4 TB of SSD storage.
But the Dhahab Edition isn't the only gold-themed card on the horizon. ASUS is also reportedly preparing a ROG Astral RTX 5080 Dhahab Edition. This RTX 5080 variant aims to make the Dhahab Edition more accessible, though still positioned as a premium offering. The cooler is derived from the air-cooled version of the ROG Astral RTX 5080 OC.
The ROG Astral design draws inspiration from the Middle East, featuring gold and turquoise colors, along with Arabic script. While technical specifications, pricing, and availability of the RTX 5080 Dhahab Edition remain under wraps, it's anticipated to be primarily available in select markets, particularly the Middle East.
The Dubai Esports Festival has been a great place for gamers. ROG event has a Dh10,00 prize pool for Fortnite, Valorant and CS2 tournament.
The ROG Elite Program offers members early access to new products, exclusive esports challenges, giveaways, and community events. Strix SCAR 2025 series laptops include a collectable ROG backpack and a Monster Hunter Wilds game code, redeemable via Armoury Crate until May 31.
