Elon Musk, the visionary behind SpaceX, has set his sights on an ambitious goal: establishing a permanent human colony on Mars. His plans include landing the first humans on the Red Planet within this decade and creating a million-strong Martian colony within 20-30 years. Still, the ultimate goal of potentially finding evidence of past or current life on Mars could address some questions about life beyond earth that scientists have pondered for many years.
