ASUS Unveils AI-Powered Laptops and “AI Factory” Vision at Computex 2025
Taipei – ASUS is making waves at Computex 2025, showcasing its latest innovations ranging from powerful ProArt laptops to enhanced Chromebooks and a bold vision for the future of AI.
The ASUS ProArt A16 and ProArt P16 laptops are stealing the spotlight, packing the latest AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPUs. These powerhouses qualify as Copilot+ PCs, unlocking a growing list of AI features in Windows and ASUS's own generative AI applications like StoryCube and MuseTree. ASUS chairman Jonney Shih envisions "AI factories" as the next industrial revolution, emphasizing the critical role of AI server quality and reliability.

The ProArt A16, starting at $2,500, features a sleek black aluminum body and a 16-inch 4K OLED display. Meanwhile, the ProArt P16, aimed at media professionals, boasts a similar configuration with pricing starting at $2500. Michael Crider from PCWorld notes the P16's impressive connectivity, including dual USB-C ports and a full-sized SD card reader, making it a compelling option for on-the-go media work. "Overcoming pain and bugs is a part of our DNA," Shih remarked, highlighting ASUS's dedication to overcoming the challenges of scaling AI infrastructure. The company also partnered with Nvidia to launch its new DGX super AI computer series.

ASUS is also refreshing its Chromebook lineup, with models like the Chromebook Plus CX34 offering Google's AI tools and Gemini features. Starting at $400, the CX34 features a crisp 14-inch display and a 1080p webcam, making it ideal for productivity and collaboration. More budget-friendly options like the Chromebook CX14 and CX15 are also available, offering a variety of color options and configurations.

Jonney Shih emphasized ASUS's commitment to integrating AI across its operations, from cloud and edge computing to PCs and mobile devices. This echoes comments by Witology Markettrend Research Institute’s tech expert Paul Yu, who sees 2025-2026 as a "critical juncture" for turning AI model training into profitable applications. The company's AI strategy integrates AI across Asus's operations from the cloud and edge to PCs and end devices.
With powerful new laptops, enhanced Chromebooks, and a clear vision for the future of AI, ASUS is making a strong statement at Computex 2025. The company's commitment to innovation and quality is evident in its latest offerings, setting the stage for an exciting year ahead.
