Black Ops 6 Season 4: Free Trial, New Maps, and a Blast from the Past with Grief Mode

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is gearing up for an action-packed Season 4, and players are getting a sneak peek with a free trial running from May 30th to June 3rd. This limited-time event offers full access to Multiplayer and Zombies, including all the new Season 4 content, making it a perfect opportunity to jump into the latest additions.

Multiplayer Mayhem: New Maps and Modes

Season 4 introduces three brand-new Multiplayer maps, each designed to offer unique combat experiences:

Shutdown Map

Shutdown (6v6): Set in a sabotaged hydroelectric plant in Iceland, Shutdown features intense battles both inside and outside the facility. Players can navigate through the Turbine, swim in the Sluice leading to the Lake, or engage in firefights around the Yard, Canteen, and Pumphouse.

Fugitive Map

Fugitive (6v6): This map takes players to a secretive CIA black site where Stitch, a notorious villain, is imprisoned. With alarms blaring and inmates roaring, players must traverse the compound, utilizing ziplines for ambushes and fighting through key areas like the Cell Block, Lobby, and Administration.

Blitz Map

Blitz (6v6/2v2): A dramatic collision on a highway sets the stage for Blitz. Players can engage in direct combat on the Bridge or drop down to the Cliffside and Waterfall for terrain-based battles. The map's design offers long sightlines, catering to various weapon classes.

Adding to the excitement is the new Team Elimination mode, a twist on Kill Confirmed. Teams have a limited number of lives per round, and eliminating opponents and collecting dog tags drains enemy lives. Denying kills by picking up teammate tags adds a strategic layer, making each decision crucial.

Zombies Nostalgia: Grief Mode Returns

For Zombies fans, Season 4 brings back the beloved competitive mode, Grief, first introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. In this 4v4 mode, teams compete to be the last squad standing in a battle between S.A.M. and Director Richtofen.

Teams fight the undead horde in separate sections of the map and can slow down opponents using melee attacks and projectiles. Capture Zones add another dimension, with specific kill types triggering debuffs on the opposing team. Available maps include Liberty Falls, Terminus, Citadelle des Morts, The Tomb, and Shattered Veil. In this mode Wonder Weapons and GobbleGums are restricted.

New Content Just Around the Corner

Stitch has returned as a new operator, and there are rumors of 3 new weapons being introduced. The new maps and modes will have players on the edge of their seat.
