Dead by Daylight’s Orela Rose: A Heroic EMT and Charitable Partnership

Dead by Daylight is welcoming a new survivor, Orela Rose, and celebrating with a heartwarming charitable partnership. Known for its thrilling asymmetrical multiplayer gameplay, Dead by Daylight continues to evolve with compelling characters and meaningful initiatives. This time, it isn't just about escaping The Entity; it's about giving back to the community.

Orela Rose, a compassionate and determined EMT, is making her debut in The Fog. But her arrival is more than just a new character introduction. Behaviour Interactive, the game's developer, is teaming up with the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation, a Montreal-based charity dedicated to pediatric advances. This partnership aims to support mothers-to-be, children, and their families at Canada's largest mother and child center.

From May 6th to May 27th, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of Orela's Day Shift and Night Shift Outfits – featuring her EMT uniform – will be donated to the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation's Grow Beyond campaign. This campaign aims to raise $500 million by 2028 to transform pediatric care.

"This initiative supports our Grow Beyond campaign, which aims to transform the future of pediatric care by raising $500 million by 2028. We’re grateful to Behaviour for helping us share our mission and bring it to new communities," said Emmanuelle Ouimet, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation.

But who is Orela Rose beyond her profession? Driven by the tragic loss of her best friend, she vowed to protect others. She brings unique perks to Dead by Daylight:

  • Do No Harm: Gain increased heal speed for each Hook State when healing another Survivor.
  • Duty of Care: Take a Protection Hit to give nearby Survivors a temporary Haste boost.
  • Rapid Response: Briefly reveal the Killer’s Aura by rushing out of a Locker (if not Exhausted).
