Mastering the Shield Saw: Combat and Exploration

The Shield Saw isn't just a weapon; it's a game-changer! Promising a perfect combination of storytelling and satisfying combat, this devastating tool features prominently in both combat and exploration. The Shield Saw allows players to block and parry enemy attacks, take down ranged enemies, and even parry projectiles, turning the slayer into more of a tank that never stops.

Key Combat Uses:

• Parry and Block: Negate damage and stun surrounding enemies.
• Shield Charge: Launch yourself at enemies for strong damage.
• Shield Throw: Mow down enemies and break shielded foes.
• Shield Runes: Unleash powerful abilities on successful Hell Surge parries such ground splitting fissures and auto turrets.

Exploration Abilities:

Furthermore, the Shield Saw can be incorporated into exploration. Such as breaking through walls marked in green, use the shield through environmental shield charges to move specific green boxes to climb specific locations to finish puzzles. More abilities such as Shield Recall Jumps allows the slayer to throw the shield at flesh nodes and embed them on them allowing traversal through areas. Other abilities included opening doors and unlocking secret areas.

Players are able to upgrade all Shield Saw abilities after obtaining the Sentinel Shrine located in the overworld.
