Honda Revives FourTrax ATV Lineup for 2026: More Power, More Tech!

Honda is bringing back its iconic FourTrax line of multipurpose ATVs for the 2026 model year, and they're packed with new features and enhanced capabilities. The lineup includes the FourTrax Rancher, Foreman 4x4, and Foreman Rubicon, catering to both recreational riders and those who need a reliable workhorse.

What makes this return significant? Honda has clearly listened to its customers, integrating technology and features to enhance the user experience and expand the ATV's utility.

FourTrax Rancher: Versatility Redefined

The FourTrax Rancher is designed for both recreation and work, coming in four different trims. All Rancher models feature a 420cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine, and boast an 848-pound towing capacity. Options include a 5-speed manual transmission as well as Honda’s 5-speed automatic Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).

The standard FourTrax Rancher is a value-focused 2WD configuration, while the FourTrax Rancher 4x4 model includes the ability to switch between 2WD and 4WD. The FourTrax Rancher 4x4 Automatic DCT EPS model is equipped with electric power steering (EPS) and DCT technology. For maximum comfort, the FourTrax Rancher 4x4 Automatic DCT IRS EPS adds independent rear suspension (IRS).

FourTrax Foreman 4x4: The Reliable Workhorse

The FourTrax Foreman 4x4 is Honda’s dedicated workhorse ATV, powered by a 518cc single-cylinder engine and capable of towing up to 850 pounds. It features an independent double-wishbone front suspension for enhanced traction. The standard FourTrax Foreman 4x4 offers easy switching between 2WD and 4WD via Honda’s TraxLok system, while the FourTrax Foreman 4x4 EPS adds electric power steering for easier handling in tough terrains.

FourTrax Foreman Rubicon: Power and Refinement

The FourTrax Foreman Rubicon is the most powerful ATV in Honda’s 2026 lineup, boasting a 518cc engine and a 1,322-pound towing capacity. It comes with either a 5-speed manual transmission or DCT. The standard FourTrax Foreman Rubicon EPS combines manual transmission with EPS and 2WD/4WD selection. The FourTrax Foreman Rubicon Automatic DCT EPS replaces the gearbox with DCT, with an optional manual override. The Deluxe version adds premium features like aluminum wheels, color-matched suspension, and painted bodywork.

Accessories and Availability

Honda is also launching new accessories for the 2026 FourTrax models, including the Mini-Pro Connect Line, allowing users to bring cameras, phones, tablets or Bluetooth speakers on their rides. Other accessories include a new audio system, gun-boot mount, steel baskets, and handguards.

Most models in the Rancher and Foreman lines will be available to order in May, with select models arriving in June. Check the Honda Powersports website for complete details.
