Despite these challenges, OpenAI believes it has the assets needed to win, including a fast-growing product, a category-defining brand, a research lead, a compute lead, and a world-class research team.
While other data points show competing brands also competing with chatbot technology. Meta AI recently surpassed one billion users, and Apple is rumored to allow users to select Google’s Gemini for Siri queries.

It's felt inevitable for a while that ads will be in ChatGPT before long and this news will surely speed that process up.”
