PlayStation’s Days of Play 2025: Deals on Consoles, Accessories, and Games, Plus New PS Plus Content

Sony is rolling out its highly anticipated annual Days of Play event for 2025, promising gamers a plethora of deals and content. Kicking off on May 28th and running through June 11th, the event celebrates the PlayStation community with discounts on consoles, accessories, and games, alongside exciting new content for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

One of the standout deals is on the PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge wireless controller. This premium controller has seen a significant price drop, making it an attractive option for those looking to upgrade their gaming experience.

The DualSense Edge, now available for $169 (a 15% discount from $200), boasts a range of customizable features. Gamers can swap between button configurations using function buttons below each thumbstick, adjust the pull length of the shoulder triggers, and utilize rear paddles with lever or half-dome options. The controller allows for easy thumbstick replacements with magnetic attachments and offers a cable lock to prevent accidental disconnections. However, potential buyers should note that the DualSense Edge's battery life is shorter, offering about five to six hours of use per charge, compared to the standard DualSense.

Beyond the DualSense Edge, the Days of Play 2025 sale includes a deal on the standard PS5 DualSense controller, reduced to $55 (a $20 discount). This provides an affordable entry point for those seeking a new or additional controller.

PlayStation Plus members are in for a treat as well. June's Monthly Games lineup includes titles like NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark (2024), and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, available starting June 3rd. Destiny 2: The Final Shape is already available from May 28th.

The celebration doesn't stop there. Bonus titles are being added to the Game Catalog and Classics Catalog for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe members. Titles coming to Game Catalog include Another Crab's Treasure, Skull and Bones, Destiny 2: Legacy Collection, and Grand Theft Auto III – The Definitive Edition. Classic Catalog additions feature Myst and Riven.

For those wanting to try before they buy, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Sid Meier’s Civilization VII will be available as Game Trials.

Additional deals include discounts on PlayStation VR2 and its Horizon Call of the Mountain Bundle ($50 off), Pulse Explore wireless earbuds ($30 off), the Access controller ($20 off), and various PS5 games like Astro Bot and MLB The Show 25.

PlayStation Tournaments will also be held from June 3rd to June 11th for NBA 2K25, offering players the chance to win virtual currency and exclusive avatars.

Don't miss out on the Days of Play 2025 deals on consoles, accessories, and games! It's the perfect opportunity to expand your gaming library and upgrade your hardware.
