Pokemon Journey Together Restocks: A Race Against Scalpers for TCG Fans
Pokémon TCG enthusiasts, brace yourselves! The hunt for Pokémon Journey Together products continues, with fleeting restocks offering a glimmer of hope against inflated reseller prices. The demand for the latest expansion has been intense, leaving many fans struggling to acquire cards at reasonable costs.
The hyper-rare Pokémon Journey Together Elite Trainer Box made a brief, almost mythical return, appearing at Magic Madhouse for £49.99. This price point was a welcome relief compared to the exorbitant markups seen elsewhere. However, the opportunity was short-lived. "And it's gone," lamented one report. "Sorry, folks - the Journey Together Elite Trainer Box has sold out at Magic Madhouse." The speed at which the stock vanished underscores the fervent desire for these collector's items.

Before its disappearance, this represented a chance to grab the Elite Trainer Box at a reasonable price, avoiding the inflated rates plaguing third-party resellers. Magic Madhouse stock evaporated within a day previously, according to sources.
Meanwhile, Walmart has also dipped its toes into the Journey Together waters. On April 29, 2025, the Journey Together Hop's Zacian ex box appeared on their online store for $22.42, significantly lower than the $41 being charged on Amazon. This box contained four booster packs from the new set, plus guaranteed promos featuring Hop's Zacian ex, Hop's Wooloo, and Hop's Dubwool, as well as an oversized version of Zacian ex. Although the stock lasted only about 50 minutes before selling out, it signaled a potential shift in availability.

There is hope the floodgates for restocks might open soon. Keep a close eye on:
- Walmart (US)
- Amazon (US) and (UK)
- Zatu Games (UK/US)
- Magic Madhouse (UK/US)
While still tough to find, Journey Together appears to be slightly more accessible than previous sets like Prismatic Evolutions or Destined Rivals. While some of the rarer SIR or IR cards, such as the Salamence ex or Articuno, command high prices, the overall demand seems less intense, making it a more appealing set for collectors.

While restocks are happening, they vanish quickly. The Pokémon Company previously promised to maximize production. Will this promise translate into a more stable supply chain and fairer prices for fans? Only time will tell.
