Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Leaks Reveal Ultra-Thin Design and Cutting-Edge Features

Samsung is poised to make waves with its upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, a device already generating considerable buzz for its sleek design and rumored cutting-edge technology. Recent leaks suggest that the S25 Edge could be the thinnest non-foldable smartphone from Samsung yet, boasting impressive specs and innovative features that aim to rival Apple's iPhone 17 Air. Here's what we know so far.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was initially teased during Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event in January and later showcased at MWC 2025 in Barcelona. While the design is already known, recent leaks, notably from Evan Blass and Sammyguru, provide more insight into the phone's technical specifications. According to these leaks, the Galaxy S25 Edge will measure a mere 5.8mm in thickness and weigh only 163g. Furthermore, the leaks highlight that the display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, making it the first smartphone to launch with this next-generation screen protection.

The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, promising all-day battery life. Sammyguru adds that this is made possible thanks to the 3,900 mAh battery. The phone is also said to feature a 200 MP primary camera, along with 12 MP ultra-wide-angle and 12 MP front-facing cameras.

While Samsung has been using the same 12 MP front-facing camera since the Galaxy S23 series, reports suggest the Galaxy S25 Edge will continue this trend with the S5K3LU sensor, also known as ISOCELL 3LU. This 1/3.2" sensor with 1.12 μm pixel size, dual-pixel AF, and 4K@60 fps video recording capabilities is expected to deliver well-exposed selfies with natural skin tones, consistent with previous Samsung models.
