Samsung is accelerating its One UI 7 update, based on Android 15, for millions of users globally. Initially rolled out to the flagship Galaxy S24 series, the update is now reaching the Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Tab S10 devices in the U.S. sooner than expected. This widespread deployment signifies Samsung's commitment to delivering the latest software enhancements to its user base.
The One UI 7 update brings a host of improvements, including a redesigned interface with updated icons, customizable widgets, and a split notification panel for quicker access. Galaxy AI enhancements, such as Writing Assist, Drawing Assist, and Audio Eraser, enrich the user experience, offering features like text correction, creative edits, and refined video sound. The Now Bar delivers real-time updates without unlocking, while integration with Google Gemini enhances app interactions.
Galaxy Tab S10 users are also receiving the update, adding new features tailored for tablets. These include easier connection to nearby devices, the ability to use a phone as a tablet webcam, and simplified access to PC file browsing without a USB connection.

While some users in Japan are experiencing delays, with Samsung issuing an apology for the lack of a rollout date, the update has expanded to regions including Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. The Galaxy S24 FE has also received the One UI 7 update, making it available to owners on select networks and unlocked variants.
To check for updates on your Galaxy device, navigate to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Keep in mind that carrier-locked devices may receive the update at a later time.
