SpaceX's Starbase facility in Texas is rapidly evolving, not just as a hub for rocket development, but also as a full-fledged city. Recently incorporated as Starbase City by Cameron County, the facility is now advertising a unique set of job openings, signaling a move towards building its own hospitality sector. This includes positions like barista, pastry chef, and even a 'Spaceport Mixologist', tasked with creating hand-crafted cocktails for the workforce.
According to the job listing, the Spaceport Mixologist will be responsible for ensuring a friendly and welcoming service environment, enhancing the productivity and morale of the SpaceX team. Starbase has grown from a small testing site to the core of Elon Musk's Mars ambitions.
