Stellar Blade Explodes onto PC with Stunning Performance and Demo Release
Stellar Blade, the highly anticipated PlayStation exclusive, is making its grand entrance onto the PC platform, and the initial signs are incredibly promising. Shift Up's action-packed title, known for its blend of Devil May Cry-esque combat with Soulslike elements, aims to impress PC gamers with its visual fidelity and engaging gameplay.
The release of a free PC demo has generated significant buzz, allowing potential buyers to test the game on their systems before committing to a purchase. This demo not only showcases the game's graphical capabilities but also addresses earlier concerns regarding PlayStation Network account linking and region locking.

The demo, available in almost 250 regions worldwide, features an introductory segment and an additional boss fight. Moreover, save files from the demo will be compatible with the full game, incentivizing players to dive right in.
Early benchmarks using an NVIDIA RTX 5090 reveal stellar performance. At Native 4K, the RTX 5090 consistently pushes framerates above 145FPS. Enabling DLSS 4 Quality Mode further boosts performance to 175-192FPS. With Multi-Frame Gen (MFG) X4, framerates soared past 450FPS. However, be mindful that Frame Gen can introduce visual artifacts during quick camera movements, particularly at MFG X2.

Even at Native 8K, the NVIDIA RTX 5090 delivers playable framerates between 40FPS and 46FPS. Utilizing DLSS 4 Performance Mode pushes the framerate above 70FPS. It's worth noting that 8K gaming with DLSS 4 Performance can actually look better than Native 4K. Multi-Frame Gen is also a viable option at 8K, potentially pushing framerates over 180FPS with MFG X4.

Performance appears smooth overall, with some minor shader compilation stutters that are less severe than those seen in other recent titles.
Stellar Blade launches on PC on June 11, 2025. Given these impressive early results, are you excited to jump into the world of Stellar Blade on PC? What settings will you be targeting?
