Xbox Game Pass May 2025 Lineup: Includes Game of the Year, Day One Releases, and More!

Xbox Game Pass is about to get a whole lot more exciting! Microsoft has unveiled a packed lineup for late May and early June 2025, featuring a mix of critically acclaimed titles, highly anticipated day-one releases, and additions to the Xbox Cloud Gaming library. Get ready to dive in!

Headlining the charge is Metaphor: ReFantazio, Atlus' award-winning RPG and a strong contender for Game of the Year 2024. This turn-based fantasy adventure, celebrated for its innovative combat and compelling storyline, will be available on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard starting May 29th. Prepare to explore vast lands, conquer dungeons, and forge bonds to shape your destiny!

But that's not all! The Game Pass library is expanding rapidly. As early as May 22nd, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, an afrofuturistic Metroidvania exploring themes of grief and loss, will join Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Game Pass Standard subscribers can also look forward to Creatures of Ava, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, and Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl on the same day.

Fans of tactical shooters will be thrilled to learn that Tom Clancy's The Division 2 will be added to Game Pass across all tiers (Ultimate, PC, and Standard) on May 27th. Also arriving that day is To a T, a quirky adventure game from the creator of Katamari Damacy, Keita Takahashi.

Also dropping on May 29 is Spray Paint Simulator, another day-one release that lets you build your painting business from the ground up. It seems inspired by PowerWash Simulator, promising a relaxing and creative experience.

Looking ahead to June, Crypt Custodian, a charming top-down metroidvania, and Symphonia, a poetic platformer, will be available on all Game Pass tiers starting June 3rd. These additions promise diverse gameplay experiences for all subscribers.
